Leading through Restoration
Restoration is God’s business. He loves to restore, to redeem, to rebuild. He does it in our lives, in our businesses, and in our families. Is there something in your life that is crying out for restoration? Something that has been stolen from you? Maybe you don’t see yourself as a leader, but God does. You don’t have to have a job title to exercise leadership. You’re a leader of your life and your choices, and perhaps there’s something within your scope that can be done.
About Depression
Your identity as God's Beloved doesn't changed based on your mood, your illness, or your circumstances. Depression doesn't make you less of a Christian, less loved by God, or less valuable to those around you. Lock that one in, because shame is a close friend of depression and it's got to go. Some of the bravest people I know are the ones who are in a long battle with depression.
A Letter to the Under Valued
You need to hear this, if you are waiting for a better day. You need to hear this if you are in a dead end job, or in between jobs, or are in a place where your passions and talents are not being recognized. You need to hear this if you are a parent who has carefully placed your dreams on a shelf while you teach a child how to dream their own. This letter is for you.
Permission to Stop
There is a night and day difference between giving up and standing still. There is only one thing that God asks of you when you hit rock bottom. Stand still, and soften your heart to Him. He is more than capable of fighting for you, and wants to accomplish much through this pain. What your enemy intends to destroy you, God will take advantage of.
Active Waiting
It seems that this God of ours knows something about the waiting that we don’t, and it’s an opportunity for us to exercise our faith. I can’t begin to determine His reasons in your life or mine, and I don’t even want to. I love the wonder and mystery because it gives me a chance to be small, and to let God be big.
